G is for girls and growing up

I have, without a doubt, one of the best TA's in the world.  However, I've been really blessed and lucky with my TA's.  She has two boys and I love to talk to her about them.  As a single mom however, I am really not looking forward to the the whole growing up/puberty/girls thing. I'm going to be beating the girls back with a stick when he grows up!

  1. It's an important part of life. He has to learn to mingle well with them if he's gonna make it in the world and be independent. It's not so bad. My son is 18 and he's doing great at college. It all works out in the end.

    1. Ya know, the part of me that is reasonable and logical knows that you are right. And I want him to have those experiences. And I want him to meet someone wonderful that he is happy with. The emotional mama part of me wants to scream 'not my baby!' and run screaming! Thanks for the comment and stopping by!

  2. Haha, I agree. I have two girls and I'm not looking forward to beating the boys off with my broom. :)
